Belling: Energy-Saving Recipe Book Campaign
In response to the UK’s energy and cost-of-living crisis, Umpf created a PR and social media campaign for cooking appliance brand Belling: the Energy-Saving Recipe Book is a free, consumer-focused resource designed to help households cook smarter and save money.
Umpf collaborated with a home economist to create 10 low-energy versions of popular recipes, each calculated to show exact savings on both energy and ingredients. The finished recipe book, hosted on Belling’s website, also included tips on cutting food waste and lowering energy bills.
To amplify the campaign, Umpf executed a targeted press and social media campaign, supported by collaborations with three trusted content creators who recreated recipes for their own audiences. The campaign launched during the winter energy price spike for maximum relevance and impact.
